Bob Adams
Bob Adams brings more than four decades of automotive industry experience to his leadership of the Bay Harbor Concours d’Elegance and The Ice Run – Walloon. His career spans 31 years with Ford Motor Company and 13 additional years as a consultant, including service as Manager, Global Auto Shows & Events. His responsibilities encompassed major product introductions, automotive marketing, and events worldwide, working closely with Ford presidents, Vice Presidents, and members of the Ford family on global automotive programs and events.
His financial and analytical experience in Ford’s Controller’s Office brings a disciplined approach to business planning and program development. His educational background in computer science, marketing, and finance further supports his approach to strategy and innovation. His work in the performance-automotive sector strengthens his connection to exceptional vehicles and the enthusiast communities that celebrate them.
As founder, Bob leads the vision and development of both events alongside an experienced executive team. His focus is on creating distinctive experiences that unite exceptional automobiles, thoughtfully curated hospitality, and philanthropy with the natural beauty and character of Northern Michigan.

Michael Thoresen
Michael Thoresen brings extensive experience in experiential marketing, automotive exhibitions, and major event programs, including a 26-year career with EWI Worldwide. His background combines strategic account leadership, brand experiences, and the practical coordination required to deliver complex exhibits and events. For the Bay Harbor Concours d’Elegance and The Ice Run – Walloon, Michael helps guide organizational strategy, business development, and relationships with automotive manufacturers, sponsors, and luxury brands. His experience connects the team’s creative vision with the partnerships and execution needed to deliver memorable guest experiences.

Vice President Strategic & Institutional RelationsRex Greenslade
Rex Greenslade brings more than 35 years of experience in automotive communications, product introductions, experiential marketing, heritage programming, motorsports, and international events. His career includes senior roles with Ford Motor Company and Jaguar, and leadership as President of G Works Inc., with work supporting major automotive brands including General Motors, Mercedes-Benz, and Chrysler. His experience also encompasses programs associated with the GM Heritage Center, Pebble Beach, Amelia Island, and Goodwood. Rex advises the leadership team on global automotive relationships, brand development, and heritage programming, helping shape the identity and long-term positioning of both events.
Vice President Strategic Concours & Automotive RelationsDoug Clark
Doug Clark brings experience in the collector-car community, business development, the needs of OEM partners, and heritage organizations, including work with Hagerty and the Revs Institute. Doug spent 18 years working for Audi of America in their U.S. and Canadian headquarters in public relations, marketing, sales and customer experience. At Hagerty, his responsibilities included publishing and business development, connecting automotive audiences and sponsor partners with the experiences and relationships that sustain enthusiasm for the automobile. Doug contributes perspective on collector engagement, automotive heritage, and program development, helping the team create experiences that resonate with owners, enthusiasts, and institutional partners. His background supports the quality and authenticity at the heart of both events.
